Debbie’s journey into sculpture began in 2021 when she participated in courses given by Michèle Lavoie in Lachine. Since then, stone carving has been a growing passion, being nurtured at Les Ateliers de la Pierre du Québec.

In 2025, Debbie founded Carving for Kids, an initiative to promote both her fellow sculptors, and a charity she hoids near and dear to her heart, Kurling for Kids.
